The Role: The SEO & Content Marketing Specialist will be responsible for building and optimizing Savvy's organic SEO and content marketing channels to drive net-new client acquisition. This role involves a deep understanding of both technical SEO and content strategy to attract high-quality organic traffic and convert prospects into clients. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a proven track record in SEO and content marketing, particularly within a lead generation context.

Responsibilities
• Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy, including programmatic SEO and technical SEO, to improve Savvy’s search engine rankings and organic visibility.
• Create and manage a content marketing strategy that aligns with SEO goals and drives high-quality traffic.
• Conduct keyword research to identify opportunities for content creation and optimization.
• Produce, edit, and manage high-quality content across various formats (blogs, articles, videos, infographics) to engage and convert prospects.
• Optimize on-page elements (meta tags, headers, alt text) and improve site structure to enhance SEO performance.
• Monitor and analyze website performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and others.
• Implement link-building strategies to improve domain authority and drive referral traffic.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to align SEO and content efforts with broader marketing initiatives.
• Stay updated with the latest SEO and content marketing trends and best practices to continually improve Savvy’s strategies.
• Leverage new AI tools to scale SEO and content efforts, understanding the impact of AI-generated content on Google Search rankings.
• Test and explore new client verticals to help solidify Savvy’s Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
• Report on SEO and content marketing performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Must Have:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in SEO and content marketing, preferably in a lead generation or financial services context.
• Proven track record of improving organic search rankings and driving organic traffic.
• Strong understanding of technical SEO, including site architecture, page speed optimization, and structured data.
• Excellent content creation and editing skills, with experience producing content across various formats.
• Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, and others.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
