Flow Labs is solving one of the biggest environmental, safety, and economic problems in the world: traffic.
Each year, the global economy loses $1 trillion due to congestion , 1.35m people lose their lives on roadways, and roadway transportation accounts for 18% of global emissions, making it one of the largest contributors to climate change.
We're changing that–right now. Our cloud-based products allow transportation agencies to monitor, analyze, and optimize transportation on their roadways. We’re proven to reduce travel times by 24%, and emissions by 21%. Given these results, if we deployed our technology across the US today, we’d save citizens up to $75 billion in fuel costs, remove 349 million tons of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere each year - the equivalent of planting a forest 1.5 times the size of New York State - and we’d add 1% to the national GDP. This is a pioneering approach to a century old problem backed by world-first technologies, including a proprietary data collection method and a proprietary approach to transportation optimization. .
About You
We're looking for an experienced software engineer to join our team and help us build the future of traffic management. The ideal candidate:

Role and Responsibilities
We Are a Small Nimble Team Tackling Challenging Problems, So There Will Be Many Opportunities To Build And Take Ownership Over Complex Systems That Are Integral To Our Platform. Your Primary Responsibility Will Be Building New Products And New Features For Our Existing On Our Frontend Web App
• Implement UI/UX to help traffic engineers, governments and citizens understand what is happening on their roadways
• Work with product and design to turn complex information and processes into simple, elegant workflows
• Help with onboarding, training and inspiring junior engineers
Desired Qualifications
• 6+ years of professional software development experience
• 4+ years with web frontend technologies, and strong knowledge of vanilla Javascript and CSS
• Great communication skills
