Summary:
Our team builds and supports analytics activation applications for the bank in the marketing space. We use cloud native application practices and modern data approaches to deliver performant software used by all channels. We are looking for an experienced full stack developer(Angular and Spring boot) with a learning mindset. Cloud engineering background or certifications are a plus
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Analyzes, designs, and develops systems based upon user specifications.
• Provides technical assistance in solving hardware or software problems.
• Possesses an in-depth knowledge of and works with the technical tools available for systems development and support.
• Maintains and demonstrates knowledge of technical industry trends, particularly as they apply to Huntington.
• May assist with identifying training needs or with training of less experienced staff.
• May serve as project leader for specific projects.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree.
• 5+ years of development experience using Java, with expertise in building API enabled apps and exposure to event driven architecture.
• Ability to write SQL queries and stored procedures, knowledge of using databases including Oracle, Snowflake.
• 3+ years of front-end development experience. Angular preferred.
• 1+ years of production support, infrastructure engineering or administration experience.
• Learning mindset with openness to learn new technologies, build things and experiment.
• Certifications like cloud architect/engineer/developer are strongly preferred.
• Experience working on product teams, awareness of agile practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with marketing applications or integration background.
• Previous Architecture or tech lead experience.
• Deep knowledge of micro services patterns, Spring framework including spring boot, batch.
• Ability to balance both development and support roles.
• Strong analytical, strong troubleshooting skills and excellent communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills, focus on customer service, and the ability to work well with other IT, vendor, and business groups
