Responsibilities

This position is responsible for working with the project administration team to meet grant deliverables by providing support to teachers and families in Hillsborough County, Florida who are participating in the Successful Start: CGI program.

Data analysis and review of current research is required to provide strategic supports and services for teachers and students.

This position will focus on mentoring, coaching, and facilitating professional development sessions for teachers and families in collaboration with project administration and CGI experts to increase understanding and implementation of research-based practices for improving student achievement in mathematics.

In addition, this position will require the facilitation of professional development offerings and technical assistance sessions to build capacity of teachers, providing input for resource development and revisions, and reporting activities into a Project Tracking System database.
Qualifications

Academic master's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate field of specialization or equivalent qualifications based on professional experience and otherwise qualified to perform assigned duties.

Valid Florida driver’s license and ability to accommodate the travel needs of the position within Hillsborough County.

• Knowledge of the elementary Florida B.E.S.T. Standards for Mathematics.

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
• Ability to gather, interpret, report and/or edit information.
• Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously.
• Knowledge of computer applications to Include, Microsoft Office suite of programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) as well as some in the Adobe suite (Acrobat, InDesign, Premier Pro).
• Knowledge of and the ability to interpret and apply Hillsborough County Public Schools mathematics instructional guides and frameworks.
• Knowledge of Cognitively Guided Instruction.
