About Me:
Hi, I am 37, from the UK, and have been living in the Netherlands for the past six years. I run a successful company and have been working with a PA for a few years. However, my current PA has moved on to the next chapter, so I am now looking for a new PA to help manage my day-to-day private life. The weight of tasks has become too much to handle, and my inboxes are out of control despite my best efforts to keep them organized.
I need to take things to the next level both in business and personal life, and I need the right person to help me do that.
PA Requirements:
- Dutch citizen
- Minimum 2 years+ experience
- Fluent in both English and Dutch
- Good knowledge of personal organizational systems/structure
- 5-10 hours per week (probably more in the beginning while getting everything set up). This could easily be increased to more for the right person since we are always requiring more assistants within my company as well, so anyone looking for more work can surely expect to find it with us!
- Eager to work and trustworthy. Patient and flexible with taking action on tasks.
- Not essential, but a BIG PLUS if you are actually based in the Netherlands!

General Tasks / Things I Need Assistance With:
- Scheduling & rescheduling appointments (e.g., vacations, cleaner, mattress delivery, medical/health/physio appointments, Tessa’s meals, meal delivery, OREC, Yannick, gym memberships)
- Email inbox management and organization
- Planning and organizing trips (booking flights, accommodation, taxi transfers, etc.)
- Email Management: Reviewing incoming emails and actioning those you can. Those that require my input or action should be summarized, and a task placed on my Todoist for me to action
- Setting email autoresponders for both general and when I am away
- Organizing Dropbox folders (we could go through this together)
- Paying invoices
- Scheduling appointments for my cat (vet or cat hotel when I'm away)
- Handling disputes, disagreements, or queries from third parties
- Ensuring my tax returns are filed on time / liaising with financial assistants such as tax advisor & accountant
- Keeping track of my virtual inbox, reading the mail, sending it to me, and placing it in the right folder
- Sending family and friends birthday/Christmas greetings/gifts
- Ad hoc tasks such as finding a new cleaner, selling things like a car or bike on Marktplaats (or elsewhere); managing the process of creating the advert and dealing with interested parties, etc.
- Event organizing (e.g., summer party, birthday party, day trips): finding caterers, cleaners, entertainment, etc.
- Placing orders online for things I need (e.g., replacement supplements). I currently add them to a list on my phone, but finding time to place bulk orders for multiple items is difficult and time-consuming as not everything can be bought from the same place. Multiple orders must be placed with different companies, although most items are purchased from Amazon NL/DE/UK. I would require you to periodically check the purchases list and place repeat orders for the things I need.

Notes:
- Extensive experience is required for this role. Applicants with specific Virtual Assistant training or certification preferred.
