Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Project
Controller/Scheduler. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the successful planning,
monitoring, reporting and execution of projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background
in project control and scheduling, possess excellent analytical skills, and be adept at collaborating
with cross-functional teams including extensive experience with MS Project, Primavera and MS
Power BI.
The ideal candidate will also be responsible for assisting with the establishment of internal
scheduling and cost control processes, and the ability to work on occasion with limited
oversight.
Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Scheduling:
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, incorporating all relevant tasks,
milestones, and dependencies.
Collaborate with project managers and team members to gather information for schedule
creation and updates.
Ensure project schedules align with overall project goals and objectives.
Resource Allocation:
Monitor and manage resource allocation to ensure optimal utilization and efficiency.
Work closely with project teams to understand resource requirements and constraints.
Identify and address any resource conflicts or bottlenecks.
Cost Control:
Assist in the development and maintenance of project budgets.
Track project costs and expenditures, providing regular updates to project stakeholders.
Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate cost reporting.
Risk Management:
Identify potential risks and uncertainties in project schedules and budgets.
Develop strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning.
Regularly assess and update risk registers.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
Monitor project progress against established schedules and key performance indicators.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Project Controller, Scheduler, or in a similar role.
Proficient in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera,
Power BI).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills:
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards.
Experience in risk analysis and management.
Experience in establishing cost and scheduling controls.
Ability to work with limited supervision.
