The project manager will work closely with the customer receiving and refining requirements on a daily basis. The Project Manager's responsibilities include working closely with the program manager and the customer ensuring that all requirements are met on time, within budget, and within scope. Sets deadlines, assign responsibilities, monitors, and summarize progress of the project in compliance with all Contract Deliverables. Prepare reports for government customers and Program Manager regarding the status of the project. Essential Job Responsibilities * Directs all phases of project from inception through completion.
• Responsible for serving multiple customers requiring developing and managing plans across several subcontractors.
• Maintain close contact with customers, CORs and Contracting Officers as required to make requisite and timely adjustments to the project (managers, staff, priorities, and deliverables).
• Changes in scope or funding will be coordinated with the appropriate HII contract, subcontract, or finance representative. * Responsible for overseeing a project contained at one primary geographic location however covering remote locations and multiple business functions and employees directly assigned to the project.
• The program involves several projects that are providing subject matter expertise to new technologies.
• Conduct periodic Program Management Reviews, monthly program variance assessments, and Customer Satisfaction Surveys. * Work with all functional departments as required to ensure continued customer satisfaction, compliance with corporate policies and standards, and to maintain high ethical standards. * Responsible for the cost, schedule, and technical performance of the project.
• Acts as primary customer contact for project activities, leading project review sessions with customers to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
• Develops new business or expands services with the customer.
• Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies project problems, and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.
• Other duties may be assigned, as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications * 8 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 6 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 12 years relevant progressive experience.
• Must have 8 years of demonstrated experience managing DOD performance-based projects and/or programs with multiple geographically dispersed performance locations.
• Strong leadership, ethical, diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across, and down multiple business and technology organizations.
• Clearance- Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI Preferred Requirements * Experience within the Intelligence Community, CCMDs (J2X/3X),CI/HUMINT, Cyber, or SIGINT. * 3+ years of experience in managing contracts awarded and administrated by GSA/FEDSIM.
