DSA is looking to hire a results-oriented Secret Cleared Tech Editor/Writer to support our customer Army G-2 and DEVCOM C5ISR remotely. This is 100% Remote.
This position will assist with the technical editing of all required release and quarterly deliverables while providing technical writing recommendations. The candidate will also work on technical writing for all new documentation that is required for the system modernization efforts that are being performed. The I2AR mission focuses on Biometircally Enabled Watchlist (BEWL). Critical Biometric mission, new technologies, room for career advancement, remote support & flexible schedule are the many exciting reasons to join us protecting our nation. This program supports a critical mission requirement utilizing new technologies (Cloud, AI/Client, Data Science). The supported program is increasing government stakeholders and funding streams so major technical and programmatic growth.
Required qualifications include but are not limited to:
• Minimum 5 years of experience writing, editing and managing technical documentation and operator/maintenance manuals for military systems and equipment
• Preparing instruction manuals, how-to guides, technical papers, and other supporting documents to communicate complex and technical information and make software products and instructions easier to use
• Developing technical information and engineering drawings for writing and editing technical documents and white papers in response to published papers, software system, solution problems, and requirements
• Researching highly technical subject matter, organizing information from multiple sources and expressing technical information in written form in comprehensible manner to a wide audience of readers
• Drafting, and refining technical concepts and solutions into an easy to read, comprehensive, compliant and compelling documents
• BS degree in Engineering or Computer Science
Preferences for desired qualifications include:
• Familiarity with cloud technologies, including Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure
• Familiarity with ICITE or DCGS-A Cloud concepts and architectures
• Familiarity with Agile software development project methodologies terminology
• Experience with Confluence
