The Change Management Junior Consultant supports our customer in assessing the impact of changes on stakeholders, developing people change management strategies, creating plans and materials, and implementing strategies for individual change projects. This role supports a set of changes under the customer's change portfolio and coordinates with the Change Management Lead who manages change across the portfolio. This position reports to a Project Manager. The Change Management Junior Consultant needs foundational change management knowledge and skills and experience applying change management thinking and tactical intervention to help users of several large software systems navigate system migrations and other changes.
Duties may include:
• Conduct change impact assessments by working with multiple project capability product owners and development teams.
• Conduct change readiness assessments within federal regulatory constraints
• Document risk assessments, including anticipated resistance
• Create strategies and detailed plans for individual changes, including change roadmaps and risk management plans
• Coordinate with the Change Management Lead to identify opportunities or risks for assigned projects and other projects in the technical roadmap
• Develop and deliver persuasive plan presentations
• Implement change plans and help the federal outreach team manage user transitions, remaining flexible in a dynamic customer environment
• Contribute to the customer's change portfolio strategy
• Develop and implement customer listening plans within federal regulatory constraints
• Conduct direct and indirect stakeholder analysis and develop assumptions about readiness, using site analytics, past user research, etc.
• Develop training, communications, and super-user outreach plans
• Create training and communications materials
• Support the customer with engaging senior leaders and other stakeholders, engaging with client leadership frequently
• Advise the customer on managing expectations and resistance for assigned projects
• Engage with the client professionally and with finesse, using excellent communication methods, active and empathetic listening, and coaching techniques
• Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress
• Must be US Citizen and Clearable
Education:
• BA/BS degree required
• Change Management Certification required

Experience:
• Requires a minimum of 3 years of people change management experience, preferably in a consulting capacity, including supporting change at least through the mid-point
• Experience with end-state change management is ideal but not required
• Experience with change management related to software system implementation in an agile environment is desirable
• Salary Range: $60,000 to 85,000
