The team
As a part of Product Engineering Services practice, we are looking for talented Solution Architect to join us to contribute to practice initiatives and keep current in the latest technology developments in the Cloud and Product Engineering space.
The role
• Responsible for end-to-end Solution Design, Architecture, Proof of Concepts, and best practices to integrate with client ecosystem and Cloud/infrastructure technologies.
• Serve as a Trusted Advisor within the program, drive conversations with Business Enablement Stakeholders and advise diverse teams, which include customer and partner resources in technical and functional delivery aspects at a program level.
• Be a partner with strategic thinking and driving next-generation Architecture on Cloud, AI, Micro Services, DevOps, etc.
• Troubleshoot key customer implementation issues and demonstrate the ability to drive to a successful resolution.
• Provide technical to the scrum teams regarding development approach and help developers to troubleshoot / resolve issues
• Identifying technical debt / future improvement opportunities and proposing solutions
• Support production releases and post-production incident resolutions
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the solution architect community.
What you'll bring
• 15 or more years of progressive, broad-based IT software experience, successfully implementing complex IT applications and developing efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems.
• Possess 7+ years of solution architecture consulting and cloud solution implementation experience using Angular, AWS Services, Java and BPM Tools (Pega preferred); owning technical engagement and help ensure a timely and successful delivery of value in Agile environments.
• Advanced skills in creating architecture (system and application) and design diagrams representing different views on business process, infrastructure, security, data flows/integrations, application components/capabilities.
• AWS Solution Architect Certification & related experience is a must
• Experience in Web technologies including Servlets, JSP, and XML. Should have hands on experience in developing web applications.
• Knowledge in Web services, JMS, Middleware tools (like Web Methods, Vitria), Web frameworks (like Struts, spring), Design Patterns (like MVC I, MVC II etc).
• Knowledge of components for enterprise architecture like enterprise beans is a plus
• Strong communication skills, Creativity and problem-solving within a team environment.
• The ability to manage and prioritize tasks and the tasks of others effectively and efficiently.
• BS or BA degree in computer science is required
As required by the equal pay and transparency acts, the expected base salary for this position is: $165k-$185k base+ bonus.
The expected pay is determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice area. Employees are eligible to participate in Hitachi Digital Services bonus/variable/commission pay programs, where applicable, and are subject to the program's conditions and restrictions.
