We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mid-Level Python Django Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing web applications using Django and related technologies. You will be responsible for building and maintaining web applications, optimizing queries for large data sets, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness of our case management software.
Must Haves:
Proven experience as a Python Django Developer
Proficiency in Django and Django Rest Framework
Strong understanding of PostgreSQL and query optimization techniques
Familiarity with the Requests library for API interactions
Ability to develop and maintain web applications using Django
Skill in implementing and managing APIs using Django Rest Framework
Experience integrating and managing third-party services such as Twilio and SendGrid
Ability to optimise queries for performance with PostgreSQL
Competence in collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
Capability to ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
Proficiency in troubleshooting and debugging applications
Experience participating in code reviews and contributing to team learning and improvement
Ability to maintain and improve test coverage
Nice to Have:
Previous experience with Flask
Familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB)
Experience with integrations such as Business Central & OneDrive
Understanding of AWS S3 storage solutions
Solid understanding of test libraries and testing fundamentals
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Experience with Twilio and/or SendGrid integration
