You'll be working with talented scientists, engineers, and technical program managers (TPM) to innovate on behalf of our customers. In this role you will leverage your engineering expertise to help develop generative AI for shopping. On a day-to-day basis, you will:
- Develop big data and machine learning pipelines to enable the training, evaluation, and deployment of large language models.
- Create tooling to accelerate model experimentation and draw key insights from diverse aspects of model performance metrics.
- Move quickly and navigate ambiguity, make short-term and long-term trade-offs, and deliver incrementally.
- Work on a wide range of technologies and problems, from big data distributed computing, internal tooling to streamline machine learning operations, to prompt engineering.
Hard Skills
• 1+ years of professional software development experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Experience in machine learning, statistics, or natural language processing
• 1+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience with ML frameworks, e.g., PyTorch, Spark MMLib, Tensorflow
• Hands-on experience with AWS data and ML-related services, e.g., Glue, MWAA, and SageMaker
• Python skills for building data pipelines from scratch
• Experience with Airflow, SageMaker, and EMR (a plus)

Work Site
This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Seattle, Washington and some days remote.
