Position Description:

\tGreatly Experienced Controls/IT Software Developer with 5-8 yrs of code development and architecture covering both controls and IT full stack space.
\tProvide a strong skillset and background in code and application development.
\tComplete IIoT and Industrial Controls Application Solution Development for Focused Projects and Defined Priorities.
\tLead projects supporting manufacturing (VO & PMTE) leveraging advanced technologies supporting MTDC initiatives, delivering key capabilities as required
\tCollaborate with cross functional teams (MFG, PD, R&A, Suppliers) to deliver planned project deliverables
\tBenchmark new advanced technologies and develop supplier partnerships to benefit future state applications.
\tTeach/Coach/Mentor and document technical knowledge.
\tProvide technical leadership to peers and management to assure the delivery of system performance.
\tEnsure the identification of lessons learned and their application to subsequent systems.
\tInterface with the Manufacturing Operations to understand their technical challenges and opportunities.

Skills Required:

\tMinimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline
\tStrong project management and organizational skills
\tDirect experience with manufacturing (Plant, VOME, PTME, etc)
\tAbility to work in a team environment, strong interpersonal and communication skills 5-8+ years development experience using Object-Oriented programming language (JavaScript, Java, C#, Swift, etc.)
\tWeb application code development experience (HTML5, CSS, etc.)

Skills Preferred:

\tKnowledge of Mfg 4.0 (Industry 4.0) key principles – data collection, AI, machine learning, IIoT, Networking and Controls architectures including reading/editing Engineering Documents
\tKnowledge and experience with Ford IT Systems
\tDesire to learn and switch between programming languages

Experience Required:

\tHighly motivated self-starter Ability to think “outside the box” to generate feasible and beneficial solutions to tackle complex problems
\tAbility to generate new ideas to improve upon existing (legacy/traditional) processes within Manufacturing Proficient with Microsoft Office products
\tLooking for ability to stand on own in Agile Based Scrum Development Environment

Education Required:
Bachelors of Science in Controls Engineering with IT Full Stack Capabilities. or Bachelors of Computer Science with focus in controls and/or electrical engineering degree
