Compensation: $35 - $37/hour during temp period; salaried + benefits upon conversion.
A Chicago-based non-profit client of ours is seeking a Content Marketing Manager to join their team!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Plan, execute, and manage web content.
• Collaborate with internal teams to produce original content for multiple internal and external audiences and channels.
• Support digital marketing initiatives via performance tracking and suggested improvements.
• Craft and edit copy for a range of marketing channels, including web pages, emails, newsletters, and more.
• Develop and implement SEO strategies to enhance search performance.
• Maintain marketing calendar.
• Create SEO-optimized content, including blogs, articles, and social media posts.
• Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines, quality targets, and resonates with target audiences.
• Edit digital content projects to maintain consistency, accuracy, and relevance.
• Contribute to the development of editorial guidelines.
• Assist with adjacent content projects for social media, podcasts, and video.
• Additional responsibilities as needed.
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
• Bachelor's degree in journalism, marketing, or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in marketing management, strategy, or content oversight.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office, performance tracking, and other related software/tools.
• Proven track record in SEO/SEM and Google Analytics.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment, consistently meeting deadlines while maintaining high standards.
• Knowledgeable in marketing strategies, digital marketing, and UX design principles.
• Possesses excellent communication skills and a keen attention to detail, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative setting
