About the Team

GOAT is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Senior Content Associate to support our content and brand marketing efforts. Responsibilities include working with the Director of Content to assist with the production of GOAT’s digital and print editorial content through creative outreach, image research, copywriting and editing, photoshoot production, and pitching and producing a regular cadence of editorial stories.

The ideal candidate is highly tapped in to the contemporary editorial landscape, a motivated self-learner, deadline-oriented, collaborative and strategic, with experience using digital media to create exciting and cohesive narratives across a variety of channels. They will immerse themselves in all aspects of content creation, from conceptualizing story angles and organizing productions through their talent network to writing and editing copy and preparing features for publication in the GOAT CMS.

In this role you will:
• Work with the Content team to build strategic content initiatives based on campaigns, seasonal moments and cultural movements.
• Manage and adhere to a strict editorial content calendar across all GOAT channels (Editorial, Social, GOAT.com, Styles Tab, App Merchandise Feed etc.).
• Ideate editorial features for digital and print, with a focus on fashion, sneakers, culture, design and art-centric topics.
• Create and articulate concepts in the form of visual decks shared cross-functionally amongst team members.
• Leverage your existing talent network to create new storytelling opportunities with creatives, musicians, artists, designers etc.
• Continue to build and manage a global talent network of creatives, photographers, writers, stylists etc.
• Arrange asset creation, delivery and revisions with contributors for interviews, photoshoots, profiles etc.
• Manage and maintain an approved budget for various projects.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders across teams for approval on copy, imagery and merchandising.
• Work cross-functionally with Design, Social/EIM, Merchandising and Growth to ensure full alignment of all marketing efforts.
• As needed, write and edit copy adhering to GOAT’s tone of voice, copy style and conventions.
• As needed, assist on photoshoots, obtain artist approvals, and draft call sheets, shoot logistics and release forms.

We are looking for:
• Minimum 3 years of experience in journalism, digital media publishing, social media, communications or marketing at an agency, in-house or equivalent experience.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects under tight deadlines.
• A quick learner, a self-starter, able to work independently, and willingness to assist with any day-to-day tasks that may arise on the Content team.
• Positive attitude and ability to refine ideas based on feedback, budget, timelines etc.
