Responsibilities:
• Drive projects in data science specifically in brand forecasting/inventory planning, segmentation, root cause analysis, etc.
• Manage a team of 3-5 junior data scientists, mentor them, and manage daily tasks, and prioritization.
• Expertise in product setup (not only services) and ability to design methods that are scalable and automated.
• Work with product management and engineering teams to deploy/implement the data science algorithms into the i2o platform.
• Report to the Head of data science/architect and assist in the execution of new designs and frameworks.
• Provide quantitative and qualitative insights on the usability of data science output.
• Ensure high data integrity and quality of output to customers.
• Set goals and metrics and define KPIs to measure and track the improvement of the data science process.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• A Master's degree in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Business Analytics is preferred (not a must).
• 5-7 years experience in big data analytics, specifically forecasting methods in Retail/e-commerce domains.
• At least 2-3 years of experience working with inventory planning/supply chain teams in a data science capacity.
• Proficiency in one of the BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Holistics, or Looker).
• Advanced MS Excel and SQL skills.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming.
