Workday Business Analysis Manager - Compensation (REMOTE)

What you need:

As our Business Analysis Manager, you will be responsible for building strong collaborative relationships with the global HR teams with a specific focus on the Advanced Compensation area and Workday functionality. You will work closely with the COE Leaders and HRIS team to ensure consistency in the customer relationship globally. You will be responsible for providing knowledge and expertise to department heads and process owners in identifying opportunities for technology and supporting prioritization. Additionally you will work to understand complex business needs and processes and to act as a liaison between the business and technical teams. You will establish and improve business processes and mentor business analysts. You will be responsible for understanding the business processes, influencing automation and coordinating communication among various business groups and HRIS technical teams for critical and complex projects. You will need to have an understanding of Workday business processes, experience working with the Workday Compensation and Advanced Compensation modules, including merit, bonus and global stock processes. In this role, you will work with folks at all levels on the business side.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with the HR and functional teams and act as a liaison between the Compensation COE, HRIS teams and global HR Operations.
• Serve as the Workday SME, with a strong understanding of the functional processes within the Advanced Compensation module and apply this understanding to HRIS strategies and implementations.
• Improve the business function through best practices, process management, mentoring, and education.
• Manage relationships with high level business stakeholders.
• Partner with business and technical teams to drive consensus on the best solution to business problems and the delivery of new solutions and enhancements.
• Ensure thorough documentation of requirements, configuration, and testing of system changes
• Define tangible use cases that align desired technology output to business objectives
• Ensure clear communication between business stakeholders and HRIS technical teams, including the ability to articulate guidance, concerns and influence others
• S-erve as subject matter expert on current and upcoming Workday capabilities.

What you need:
• Bachelor’s Degree is strongly preferred, however in lieu of a degree an additional 6 years of work experience will be considered. A bachelor’s degree in business administration, Computer Information systems preferred.
• Workday certification(s) preferred
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience is required.
• Workday experience required in compensation processes, including merit, bonus and stock
• Knowledge of medical device and/or pharmaceutical industry preferred.
• Experience working with high level business stakeholders is required.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a matrix organization structure with significant emphasis on collaboration and persuasion, rather than relying entirely on command and control.
• Experience with process mapping is required.
• Experience documenting complex processes and presenting them in a clear and understandable format is required.
• Experience understanding, evaluating, and recommending changes to business processes are required.
• Experience working in an agency-regulated environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of Agile Development methodologies is preferred.
• Experience with Azure DevOps preferred.
• Understand concept of an object-oriented data model
• Have extensive knowledge of Workday functionality and data flow, including organizational structure and roles within a system
• $112,800--$239,900 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
