DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Lead the development of scalable tools leveraging machine learning models to solve real-world problems in areas such as Time Series predictions or Natural Language Processing. Develop deep learning models. Collaborate with all lines of business and functions in the Corporate Investment Bank. Drive AI/ML projects. Suggest, collect, and synthesize requirements. Create roadmap for the deployment of a production-level machine learning application. Educate stakeholders on the benefits of various AI/ML approaches. Participate in broader technical architecture decisions to ensure best practices are widely adopted by the firm. Manage a cross functional team of data scientists and AI experts to identify as well as deliver AI bases solutions in functional areas like finance, controls and compliance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master’s Degree in Business Intelligence and Analytics, Data Science, Machine Learning, AI, Computer Science, or related field of study plus 6 years of experience in the job offered or as Predictive Science, Applied AI ML Director, Principal Data Scientist, Data Scientist, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor’s degree in Business Intelligence and Analytics, Data Science, Machine Learning, AI, Computer Science, or related field of study plus 8 years of experience in the job offered or as Predictive Science, Applied AI ML Director, Principal Data Scientist, Data Scientist, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Statistics; Machine Learning; Natural Language Processing; Deep Learning; Recommender Systems and Graph Network Analysis; programming with Python and SQL; standard data science tooling including PySpark, Hive, R, AWS, and graph data modeling; applying AI ML algorithms; analyzing stakeholder requests and translating business problems into solvable data science problems and utilizing appropriate methodologies to provide solutions; using visualization designs to represent data science findings.
Job Location: 383 Madison Ave., New York, NY 10179. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
Full-Time. Salary: $260,000 - $325,000 per year.
