#About the Role

We are seeking a Data Scientist with a strong background in Snowflake, statistics, data engineering, and extensive experience in machine learning and deep learning.

What You Will Do
• Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that can drive business decisions. Work with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured datasets.
• Develop, implement, and maintain predictive models using statistical methods, machine learning, and deep learning techniques.
• Work with Snowflake to manage and analyze large-scale data warehouses and collaborate with data engineers to design and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Perform data cleaning, preprocessing, and validation to ensure data quality, and stay current with the latest industry trends and technologies in data science and machine learning.
• Develop expertise in data modeling, database design development (relational and non-relational databases), data mining, and segmentation techniques.
• Utilize cloud computing for data storage and processing, develop data visualizations to effectively communicate insights, and apply statistical inference methods for data analysis.
• Collaborate seamlessly within a mature software infrastructure, encompassing CI/CD pipelines, proficient unit testing, integration testing, and leveraging a well-organized Python framework for library-style development.
• Present advanced data analyses using advanced technical reporting tools such as Jupyter notebooks.
• Assist in the development of front-end applications using dashboarding technologies such as QlikSense, Streamlit, or similar technologies.

What You Need
• Master’s degree in data science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field from a top-tier university, with at least 1 year of experience in data science or analytics.
• Proficiency in Python or R programming.
• Experience in developing and implementing machine learning models.
• Extensive experience with machine learning and deep learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras), and proficiency in Python.
• Familiarity with software development practices, including version control, library-style development, object-oriented design (OOD), and unit testing.
• Expertise extracting and analyzing data from cloud-based databases such as snowflake.
• SQL Expertise for data assembly, navigation, and aggregation.
• Experience with data engineering concepts, ETL processes, data pipeline design, data modeling, database design development (relational and non-relational databases), data mining, segmentation techniques, and database management.
• Proficiency in cloud computing, data visualization tools, excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication skills for working in a team environment across time zones.

What Is Nice To Have
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience working for a global company with billion-dollar revenue and proficiency in Snowflake and SQL for data querying and manipulation.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Experience in an industry related to [Company’s Industry, e.g., finance, healthcare, e-commerce].
