A day in the life

The Director, Project & Construction Management role will report to the VP of Warehouse Product Solutions to collaborate on the design and delivery of programmatic initiatives and strategy. We are looking for someone that provides a combination of Construction Management and Program Management to implement and deliver complex warehouse products and solutions to our customers. You will play a key role in building trust that Essentials is the "one hand to shake" for all our customers' warehousing needs. This subject matter expert will have a deep grasp of how to methodically analyze customer needs and specifications and demonstrate strength in leading a team through problem solving, issue-resolution, and working towards results.

Key responsibilities include:
• Manage a team of Essentials Delivery Managers (EDMs) providing project execution and delivery for our lighting/electrical, network/security, material handling, storage, construction and services businesses delivering successful projects to customers on-time and as promised. This includes owning operational KPI's such as delivery time, project margin, and customer satisfaction.
• Utilize knowledge of jurisdictional permitting requirements, and timeline and budget constraints to deliver next gen warehouse solutions.
• Partner with the Sales, Warehouse Solutions, and Procurement teams to ensure appropriate project schedules, scope and vendor management measures are in place.
• Visit customer sites to meet with local decision makers, take tours, learn processes, ask questions, and build trust in Essentials delivery capabilities.
• Develop and drive standard business processes and strategies to drive efficiencies and create visibility into areas of the business.
• Establish and cultivate partnerships and relationships with key customers, vendors, and the global Prologis team.
• Observe and investigate operational needs, problems and opportunities and then design and implement solutions for implementation.
• Collaborate with our technology teams and other business stakeholders to automate the flow of information, improve communication, and enable proactive decision making for the management team.
• Ability to travel 25+% of the time.

Building blocks for success

Required:
• 7+ years of experience in Construction Management, Project Management or Program Management with proven experience of delivering results.
• Consultative project management experience: Understanding a customer's business and operations and melding it with standard and/or creative PM strategies to create trust and provide valuable insight.
• Subject matter expertise with knowledge of leading warehouse and construction technologies and providers
• Effective leadership and team building skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills and strong desire to deliver results.
• Excellent oral, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.

Preferred
• MBA a plus.
• PMP Certification.
• Experience in the material handling, storage and warehouse solution businesses an advantage
• AutoCAD drafting experience.

Hiring Salary Range of: $174,000 - $239,000. Salary and whole compensation package (bonus target) to be determined by the candidate's location, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as
