Job Summary
For nearly 30 years, this company has provided comprehensive aircraft inventory support for airlines, MROs, OEMs, and distributors. The company is expanding its digital marketplace and online sales, seeking to fully realize its potential with the right technology team.
As an Expendable Pricing Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to optimize revenue by developing accurate and timely pricing models. This role is essential to ensuring that the company derives maximum value from its inventory, with critical data gathered by the Asset team.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform daily pricing activities, including market and price research related to inquiries from the Sales and Purchasing Departments, and coordinate pricing requests and RFPs.
• Facilitate pricing adjustments as requested by various departments.
• Conduct market data gathering, including collecting phone and email quotations from competing vendors.
• Review pricing for accuracy and consistency.
• Deliver pricing targets as set by the department.
• Utilize established procedures, tools, equipment, and technologies to manage inquiries related to pricing and inventory.
• Actively participate in process improvements through the company’s quality system.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Experience and Qualifications
• Education: High School diploma required; college education in progress in Finance or Business Administration or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience with data entry and reporting in a complex environment is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills.
• Experience in analyzing sales and pricing of assets or commodities, whether through professional experience or academic projects.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with experience using logic to arrive at solutions.
• Knowledge of Inventory Locator Service (ILS) and other industry supply resources is a significant plus.
