We are seeking a Senior Product Manager-Technical (PM-T) to join the Data Insights SCience and Optimization (DISCO) team within Amazon Music.

As a Senior PM-T, you will own key data products and programs our team is building to execute our mission to enable data driven product decisions in Amazon Music. Our data products and programs range from deep learning based causal inference framework to attribution analysis and data self service platforms.

In this role, you will define a multi-year strategy and roadmap for the team. No one will tell you how to do your job. You must seek out what needs done on a project and ensure it gets done.

Key job responsibilities
• Lead large-scale science and self-service data products across design, build and maintain phases.
• Play a senior role in setting up PM-T best practices across DISCO organization
• Manage bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints, and maximize business benefit while building great customer experiences.
• Partnering with our BI and DE teams to enhance self-service , data availability, and broad access to customer insights made available through.
• Defining and developing tests to identify the best way to reach, convert, and retain customers.
• Reporting to senior leadership and the team at large, on customer, product and customer insights and trends.
• Combining online web customer behavior and offline customer attributes to gain novel and powerful understanding of Digital Music customers.
• Quickly build a thorough understanding of the Digital Music industry, its seasonality and global business trends and continually monitor the impact of important industry developments.
• Present confidently to senior management, executive stakeholders, and other large audiences.

Understand how your customers interact with your product and where their pain points are.

Use data to prioritize features for your team and ensure we are working on the highest value task (ROI).

Dealing with ambiguity to develop solutions that work for stakeholders from various disciplines to meet aggressive timeline developing requirements

Balancing the business needs versus technical & operational constraints

Anticipating bottlenecks, providing escalation management and making tradeoffs; encouraging risk- taking behavior to maximize business benefit while identifying interdependencies between concurrent

Projects to prevent downstream problems. building roadmaps

Building consensus on decisions and ensure delivery of high quality results.

Evangelizing within and outside Amazon to encourage a fast and smooth adoption of products and programs.

Executing on business plans

Managing launched programs while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

Drive improved environmental performance for Amazon.

Investigate competitor products. Understand how your products compare and what differentiates them from the competition.

Understand all aspects of the product lifecycle.
