A financial services company for banks across the US is searching for a highly skilled and motivated Sr. Investment Analyst to join their team in Las Vegas, NV! They are looking for someone with at least 3+ years of finance or investment experience and at least 2+ years specifically of fixed income investment. Sr. Investment Requirements:
• Bachelor s degree in finance, economics, statistics, or accounting
• 3-5 years of finance or investment experience with at least 2 years of specific fixed income investment experience
• Proficiency in MS Office with expert-level skills in Excel, including macros
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail
• Series 65 license is preferred
• CFA, CMT, CTP, or Master s/MBA
• Experience with Bloomberg or financial modeling software is a plus
Sr. Investment Responsibilities:
• Conduct in-depth analysis of fixed-income investments, particularly municipal bonds
• Compile and present monthly technical reports on investment performance
• Develop and maintain complex Excel models, including macros, to support investment analysis
• Analyze municipalities across the United States to assess investment opportunities
• Support the investment and operations teams with data analysis and reporting
• Contribute to the overall investment strategy and provide insights for portfolio management
