What is the opportunity?
The incumbent will lead the creation/ refinement of Direct Investing's (DI’s) digital strategy across all platforms and integration points. Working with Design and Digital teams, you will visualize the ultimate digital journey and digital product. This role supports the RBC Direct Investing (DI) business in the ability to achieve the business strategic priorities, revenue generation and operational performance. The role is also accountable for successful achievement of client experience strategic priorities, driving a high level of performance, employee engagement, and improvement in client experience.
What will you do?
• Lead Digital CX Strategy - The incumbent will lead the creation/ refinement of DI’s digital strategy across all platforms and integration points. Working with Design and Digital teams, will visualize the ultimate digital journey and digital product.
• Digital Leadership - The incumbent will articulate a forward-looking innovative view on digital interactions. Achieved through building a deep understanding of the self-directed clients with primary research with partners, behavioral analytics and synthesizing the learnings in context of RBC Direct Investing strategy.
• Strategy Development - Support the creation / refinement of DI’s business strategy as it relates to digital innovation, supporting P&L drivers.
• Lead Strategic Initiatives - Lead initiatives that align to overall strategic priorities.
• Business analytics and reporting - Working across the DI team, support the direction of the business through deep analytics, client insights and financial opportunity.
• Digital Partnership Client Analytics - Work with Direct Investing and Personal Savings and Investments analytics partners to inform client voice based on behavioral data
• Industry Research & Surveys - Develop deep understanding of the self-directed client by synthesizing industry surveys conducted by other research firms/ ODBs. Lead strategic direction of business response to industry surveys in partnership with DI Communications team
• Design Thinking - Provide guidance/ insights to the design research team in order to guide feature creation for projects as they arise; be the CX champion who keeps design thinking focused on DI’s target personas
• Operational - Work closely with Contact Centres, Operations and Communications to support efficiency through digitization.
What do you need to succeed?
Must have:
• 5+ years digital product experience
• Experience bringing product to market
• Results driven experience
• Understanding of Client experience journeys
• Ability to drive insight through data analytics
Nice to have:
• Digital investing experience
• Understanding of investment products
• Masters degree
