SEO Assistant - Client Onboarding Specialist
Position Overview:
As an SEO Assistant focusing on client onboarding, your primary responsibility will be to help new clients integrate and optimize their websites for search engines. This role involves guiding clients through the initial setup of SEO strategies, tools, and practices, ensuring that they are well-positioned for successful search engine performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Onboarding:
Initial Consultation: Conduct introductory meetings with clients to understand their business goals, target audience, and current SEO status.
Assessment: Evaluate clients’ existing websites and digital presence to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
SEO Strategy Development:
Research & Analysis: Perform keyword research, competitor analysis, and market research to inform SEO strategies.
Action Plan: Create a customized SEO action plan for each client, including on-page, off-page, and technical SEO recommendations.
Technical Setup:
Tools & Platforms: Assist clients with the setup and configuration of SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tracking software.
Site Audit: Conduct thorough site audits to identify and resolve technical issues affecting SEO performance.
Content and On-Page Optimization:
Content Review: Analyze and recommend improvements to website content, including meta tags, headers, and keyword usage.
Implementation: Assist clients in implementing on-page SEO changes and ensure that content aligns with SEO best practices.
Training and Support:
Client Education: Provide training sessions for clients on SEO best practices, tools, and ongoing maintenance.
Ongoing Support: Offer continuous support and guidance as clients adapt to new SEO strategies and tools.
Reporting and Communication:
Progress Reports: Generate and present regular reports on SEO performance, including metrics like traffic, rankings, and conversions.
Feedback Loop: Establish a feedback loop with clients to ensure their needs are met and adjust strategies based on their input.
Qualifications:
Experience: Previous experience in SEO or digital marketing, with a strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
Skills: Proficiency in SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs), excellent communication skills, and the ability to interpret and present data effectively.
Education: A background in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred but not required.
