Summary:
We are seeking an Interim Physical Education & Health Teacher to join our team at Cinnaminson Middle School for the 2024-2025 school year. This is a part-time position (0.8). The successful candidate will be responsible for providing instruction in physical education and health to middle school students.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans for physical education and health classes
- Instruct students on proper techniques and safety procedures for various physical activities
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback on their performance
- Promote healthy habits and lifestyles to students
- Maintain a safe and clean learning environment
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to coordinate school-wide events and activities
- Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions as required
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or a related field
- Teaching certification in Physical Education and/or Health
- Prior experience teaching middle school students preferred
- Knowledge of current physical education and health standards and practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and administrators
- Must pass a background check and maintain a clean criminal record.
