Our leading hospitality client is seeking a Director of Finance to join their team. The Director of Finance will play a critical role in driving worldwide budgeting, forecasting, and long-term projections. This position collaborates with business unit leaders across the organization The successful candidate will also contribute to key operational, strategic, and financial analyses. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $175,000 to $215,000 per year.
Job Description
• Coordinate and execute the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plan.
• Collaborate directly with business unit leaders to compile and analyze budget and forecast data.
• Manage revenue forecasting, identifying and highlighting trends.
• Review long-term financial plan assumptions and performance metrics.
• Prepare comprehensive annual budget and financial packages.
• Analyze the company’s cash flow and financial projections.
• Regularly review actual results against budget and forecast.
• Partner with the accounting team to ensure accurate reporting.
• Investigate, reconcile, and document significant or unusual variances.
• Assist with KPI reporting.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• 10+ years of work experience, including 5-7 years in public accounting, investment banking, or management consulting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements, including cash flows.
• Highly analytical with the ability to synthesize large amounts of data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially when interacting with foreign offices.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable.
