About the Role:
Job Title: Content Designer
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with teammates from product, tech, analysis, and design to uncover customer and business needs
Co-create intuitive and engaging solutions from concept to launch
Translate complex ideas into understandable concepts that evolve and enhance the product experience
Craft clear strategic recommendations to optimize internal communications through a variety of methodologies
Advocate for internal users through human-centered design methods, ensuring our products speak their language and meet their needs
Champion approaches grounded in research and analysis, and always represent the perspective of content design
Participate in design reviews and critiques, and help all designers strengthen their skills in content design
Effectively explain and advocate for your design decisions with an audience of product partners and other stakeholders
Develop and share tools and frameworks with your local design team, plus the broader content design community and Design organization
Work with the research team to understand customer needs and mindsets and define what information is needed throughout the user experience
Frame problems, share insights and design new methodologies/practices to serve user needs
Facilitate and participate in workshops with various stakeholders
Guide and coach others through co-writing content for internal user interface solutions
Ensure all content is clear, consistent, inclusive and easy to understand
Meet compliance requirements while also upholding our plain language and content standards
Develop and share tools and frameworks with your local design team, plus the broader content design community and Design organization
Help contribute to our internal design system and other guidelines and best practices
Qualifications:
At least 5 years of experience writing and designing content for digital experiences
Experience crafting content using design tools such as Figma
UX writing experience
Experience crafting content and strategy for internal platforms and associate facing tools
Experience creating content for data rich interfaces, translating complex concepts into self-service tools for multiple user types
Experience crafting content and experience strategies to inform multi-channel communications
Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary product design or UX team
Familiarity with using and contributing to an established design system
Strong presentation skills and experience sharing strategic rationale with partners and stakeholders
Comfortable creating content for cross-channel experiences
Experience working with different teams or departments such as marketing, tech/engineering, product management, analytics, customer support and legal/compliance
Location: Remote
Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $100,000 – $105,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
