Overview
LMI is seeking a mid-level Systems Engineer with experience in model-based systems engineering (MBSE) to join a dynamic team providing end-to-end Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) services support to NASA ARMD/AMIO.

Responsibilities
• Collaborate with team of NASA Project research and system engineers, other partners, and stakeholders to develop models of complex future advanced air mobility system architecture and use case behavior using systems modeling languages such as SysML and UAF.
• Assess engineering artifacts and develop models of concepts of operation use cases and system architecture using Digital Engineering and MBSE methodologies and tools such as Magic Draw.
• Support Integrated Product Teams (IPT's) and other engineering working groups to review and assess the maturity of engineering artifacts such as concept of operations (CONOPs), system architecture, system interfaces, functional allocation, and data models.
• Collaborate in development of architecture and requirement baselines, establishing and assessing mission capabilities.
• Provide meeting coordination, technical consultation, and system development to assist the customer decision makers.
Qualifications
Required:
• 2-4 years of experience with BS/BA, 1-3 years of experience with MS/MA technical degree (engineering, engineering technology management, or related STEM field).
• Experience with MBSE and Agile Development methods
• Experience with MBSE tools such as Magic Draw, Cameo, or DOORS.
• Experience with object-oriented programming languages such as SysML, UAF, Python, Java, or C++.
• Professional written and oral communication skills.
Desired:
• Familiarity with uncrewed aircraft system capabilities and concepts.
• Familiarity with advanced air mobility and aviation architectures.
• Familiarity with digital engineering concepts.
• Experience supporting NASA or Department of Defense (DoD).
