Human Resources Director
Our client is seeking an innovative, confident Human Resources Director for their team. Although this is a fully remote role, the company is seeking candidates who reside in the Eastern time zone.
Responsibilities of the Human Resources Director
• Develop and implement HR policies and activities that support the organization’s mission and talent strategy
• Manage the HR team, including recruiting, payroll, and benefits
• Oversee employee-related initiatives, such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management, promotions, and terminations
• Handle employee relations, acting as a link between management and employees
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, including coordinating with management to address issues
• Serve as a credible and trustworthy business partner representing the needs of employees and management
• Travel domestically on occasion
Qualifications of the Human Resources Director
• Minimum 5-10 years of HR management experience
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, as well as strong organizational and leadership skills
• Warm and professional demeanor
• Ability to adapt to change
• Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to solve problems and think strategically
• Ability to work well independently
