Job Title: Sr Scala Developer
Location: Irving, TX
Job Type: 6-12+ month Contract
Job Description:
• Design, build and maintain the data ingestion pipelines using Scala FS2/Akka Streams/Kafka Streams.
• Experience in at least one of the high-level programming languages - Scala/Java.
• Experience in functional programming like Scala/Clojure is a great plus.
• Advanced understanding of data modeling, index analysis & optimization in MongoDB/Cassandra.
• Experience in setting up ETL pipelines and their orchestration.
• Experience in BigData solutions like Apache Spark, Flink, Kafka, Hive, etc.
• Experience in composing scalable solutions using AWS services like ECS, S3, EMR, Athena, Glue, ECS, and Lambda.
• Knowledge in CICD, Jenkins, Docker/Kubernetes, Elastic Search, Splunk/ELK, and Git; Used various data formats that include XML, JSON, and Parquet.
• Experience in building RESTful APIs using http4s/Play/Spring/Akka HTTP.
• Participate in the design, architecture, and implementation of large-scale engineering infrastructure.
