Charitable Giving: Tax and Estate Planning Experience?
Do you want a primary or secondary income stream?
The Wilms Cancer Foundation (WCF) is looking for a retired or former accounting specialist with tax or estate planning experience to help us develop and execute our new fundraising program to increase donations in support of childhood kidney cancer.
The new program provides government authorized financial relief to individuals and businesses who owe money to the IRS/ CRA in the form of federal, state or provincial tax credits and incentives (tax receipts, etc.) in return for their charitable donation (such as cash, shares, securities, mutual funds or life insurance) to the WCF’s Wellness Fund.
In addition, to financial incentives, donors further benefit from significant brand alignment and marketing exposure with our international children's cancer charity.
Starting as a volunteer and transitioning quickly to full-time within two months of engagement, specifically, this will involve identifying and engaging individual donors or businesses within the business community or accountancy sector.
This is an ideal position for a seasoned professional (although the position is open to all candidates) who has an understanding of general accountancy, tax or estate planning, can work semi-autonomously and has strong connections within the accountancy world.
In return the WCF will offer a significant salary package including a 10% commission payout on all secured donations with no ceiling and management opportunities commensurate with success
