Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Solar Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting our solar energy solutions to Farms and businesses, identifying new sales opportunities, and providing exceptional customer service. Duties
- Conduct door-to-door sales and outside sales to promote solar energy solutions to potential customers.
- Provide technical sales support to customers, explaining the benefits of solar energy and addressing any questions or concerns.
- Lead generation, manage leads, and monitor sales performance.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the solar energy market, including current trends and competitor activity.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service, ensuring that all customers receive the highest level of support and satisfaction.
- Work with leadership to set sales goals and develop strategies to achieve them.
- Manage a sales territory and prioritize sales activities to meet monthly targets.
- Travel to customer sites, including farms and businesses, to assess their solar energy needs and provide personalized solutions.
- Develop and maintain a strong network of contacts within the market, including potential customers, partners, and industry experts.
Skills
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (or other relevant languages), not required.
- Experience in Solar sales, outside sales, and/or door-to-door sales, required.
- Strong knowledge of the solar energy market, including current trends and competitor activity.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and build strong relationships.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong leadership skills, with experience in leading sales teams or managing sales territories.
- A passion for renewable energy and a commitment to sustainability.
- A drive to meet sales targets and achieve success in a competitive environment.
