Manager, Product Integrity (PI) – Ann Taylor & LOFT
About the role
The Product Integrity Manager will work closely with various internal departments, third party testing labs, agents, mills and vendors to ensure the quality, safety and integrity of the product. The PI Manager is a subject matter expert, responsible for evaluating and updating product testing protocols that are in line with industry & regulatory standards, while upholding KnitWell Group’s quality standards.
The PI Manager will oversee and participate in development meetings, seasonal line reviews, raw material and product risk assessment meetings. The PI Manager will utilize customer feedback, store audits, testing, benchmark analysis and industry experience to work proactively with the Cross Functional Teams (CFTs), agents, mills and vendors to hindsight and constantly evolve and improve the product.
The impact you can have
• Work with management to define KPI and develop reports for agent empowerment, customer feedback, mill accreditation and 3rd party lab testing
• Attend development meetings and seasonal line reviews. Provide recommendations and offer solutions as it relates to construction and raw materials
• Maintain detailed testing history, including physical and electronic files as required
• Follow up on testing Corrective Action Plans, request additional testing as needed and ensure corrections are executed in bulk
• Work with labs & overseas offices to update testing manual and protocols. Determine appropriate timeline for implementation and disseminate updates accordingly
• Evaluate and monitor 3rd party service provider performance. Take necessary action for specific locations and service providers that do not meet Ann Inc.’s expectations
• Create content for training and workshops to be held domestically and overseas
• Participate in and conduct training overseas for agents, mills, vendors and factories
• Support global expansion by researching and developing protocols for quality, safety, chemical and labeling compliance
• Develop SOPs for various department processes including record retention, sample retention, etc.
• Conduct PI team trainings, ensure continuity in process and alignment between brands
• Oversee NY based QA processes
You’ll bring to the role
• Bachelor’s degree
• Extensive knowledge of textile and accessories test methods and testing requirements
• Extensive knowledge of US Federal and State regulations
• Experience developing protocols for global markets
• Supervisor experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a corporate retail Product Integrity role
Additional Skills
• Knowledge of textiles, dyeing and finishing.
• Knowledge of garment production.
• Knowledge in Quality Assurance of finished garments.
• Understanding of Textile Inspection Reports.
• Understanding of 3rd party Garment Inspection Reports.
• Understanding of Correction Action Plans / Remediation process and working with suppliers on Root Cause
• Analysis as it relates to both non-conformant textiles and finished garments.
• Maintain/update/create Product Integrity and Quality Assurance manuals, SOPS and guidance documents.
• Excellent oral and written skills
• Experience in oversea travel to factories

• The target salary range for this role is: $85,000-100,000*
