About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic B2B Sales Leader to spearhead our expansion into the B2B/Corporate market. This is an exciting opportunity to build a new business line from the ground up within an established Direct-To-Consumer (DTC) E-Commerce company. You’ll be instrumental in delivering our exceptional product experience to businesses nationwide.
What You’ll Do
• Business Development: Identify and pursue potential B2B clients in sectors such as hotel chains, premium restaurants, universities, healthcare institutions, and corporate offices.
• Strategic Sales Planning: Develop and implement tailored sales strategies to effectively target these specific B2B markets.
• Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong, lasting customer relationships with key decision-makers, including corporate interior designers, architects, project managers, facility managers, and administrators.
• Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
• Collaboration: Work closely with our marketing and product teams to create targeted B2B marketing materials and enhance products based on customer feedback.
• Performance Monitoring: Regularly track and report on sales performance against set goals.
What We’re Looking For
• Proven Self-Starter: Demonstrated ability to initiate and drive projects independently.
• Entrepreneurial Spirit: A track record of building something from scratch, showcasing an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Sales Experience: Proven experience selling physical (preferably consumer) products, with a strong background in B2B sales, ideally in the decor, hospitality, furnishing, or similar industries.
• Industry Network: A strong network in the hospitality, restaurant, or corporate sectors is advantageous.
• Exceptional Communication Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Resilience and Grit: Demonstrated tenacity and resilience in pursuing sales goals.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
