Overview:
As a Linguist (Hebrew to English) you will prioritize linguistic tasks for various document types to meet production needs and maintain quality standards. Your linguistic skills will be certified as part of the hiring process.
Description:
• Understand and uphold TransPerfect's quality standards to meet client expectations
• Participate in and pass required trainings, including subject matter certification, tech tools, production processes, and Quality Assurance
• Navigate company resources, including Confluence, Launchpad, and technology
• Execute linguistic tasks according to project specifications
• Adhere to internal and client processes for all projects
• Work under supervision of the Team Lead or senior team member
• Achieve quality and efficiency targets set by manager/supervisor
• Complete all tasks as assigned by manager/supervisor
Required Skills:
• Excellent communication skills in Hebrew and native level of English
• Flexibility and adaptability to a fast-paced work environment
• Ability to effectively multitask and prioritize
• Results-oriented and self-motivated with problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and/or translation certificate
• Successful completion of Internal Linguistic testing in line with TransPerfect's TLC program
• Prior industry experience in translation, proofreading, or copywriting
