Research Specialist A

Job Description Summary
The Weissman lab is seeking a motivated Research Specialist A/B to conduct the experiments targeted at creation of cancer vaccines. The Research Specialist A/B will assist in multiple research projects by carrying out mRNA production and quality control experiments, in vitro and vivo mRNA delivery experiments.

Job Description

Perform mRNA production, purification and quality control assays

Assist in in vivo LNP delivery (mouse) experiments

Assist in flow-cytometry experiments

Analyze data

Research Specialist A: will perform mRNA production, purification, quality control experiments, maintain cancer cell lines, assist in mouse experiments, assist in other experiments as needed, analyze data.

Research Specialist B : In addition to Specialist A duties will perform mouse experiments/work independently.

Qualifications
• Research Specialist: Bachelor of Science and 0 to 1 year of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• Research Specialist B: Bachelor of Science and 1 to 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
