Job Summary and Qualifications
The Patient Ambassador serves as the primary representative of HCA Florida Memorial Food Service’s Patient Experience Team. Working under minimum supervision, he/she is primarily responsible for successfully completing all assigned patient interviews, new admission visits, and other duties to support the program as needed.
Patient Relations
• Maintains and supports patient satisfaction at a level that ensures positive patient experience.
• Administers required patient surveys and responds to unsatisfied patients in a timely and effective manner.
• Ensures that all employees demonstrate AIDET and Hospital mission and values toward patients and guests.
• Documents complaint and routes to appropriate personnel.
• Maintains and updates files as ongoing as any investigation/conflict resolution occurs until closure is met.
People Management
• Assists in customizing standards to meet Food Service’s unique needs as required.
• Assists in developing and/or monitoring a department/unit patient satisfaction action plan and reporting to clients as needed.
• Shadows and documents associate compliance and knowledge of AIDET, patient identifiers and providing excellent customer service.
Administration and Support
• Evaluates action plans, its alignment with goals and reports to operational teams as necessary.
• Composes patient satisfaction reports as needed to management.
• When faced with food services issues that do not meet standards, ensures tasks are followed up on and completed within reasonable time frame.

• Coordinates, schedules, and arranges various group meetings and task force, providing necessary media as requested.
• Appropriately screens all incoming calls and routes the calls to appropriate destination.
• Assists in the identification of trends noted when inputting data entry
What qualifications you will need:
• High School Graduate / GED
• Associates Degree preferred.
• 2-4 years of administrative or coordinator experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
