We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager, Global Trade who will manage export/import licensing and compliance activities within Raytheon's Advanced Products & Solutions (APS), Electro-Optical/Infrared (EO/IR) Solutions business. In this role, you will be expected to provide strategic oversight, guidance, and leadership for your EO/IR Solutions programs portfolio in connection with all facets of export/import authorizations activities including under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR), respectively. This role will also be responsible for contributing to key global trade compliance infrastructure elements including people, processes/procedures, automated solutions/tools, training, and metrics as well as collaborate closely with diverse functional groups across the organization and championing compliant business practices in the intricate landscape of export and import regulations. Additionally, this position will be working with a small team of Global Trade Professionals as a supervisor and coach. This role has been deemed to be on-site. What You Will Do: * Serve as Empowered Official * Supervise a team of Global Trade professionals & support and nurture each member of your team with career development guidance/activities * Provide export/import licensing guidance and license portfolio management guidance * Support the business with developing export/import licensing strategies to enable business growth * Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in ITAR and EAR Export Authorizations requirements and drafting * Review, prepare, submit, and manage Export/Import Authorizations (Licenses: DSP-5, DSP-85, DSP-73, DSP-61, BIS-748P Licenses; Agreements: MLAs and TAAs; Exemptions/Exceptions) to authorize the transfer of regulated hardware, technical data, software, and services * Review and approve export transactional requests involving engineering support services, meetings, employee travel, visitor access, technical data/defense service exports, and hardware exports * Provide day-to-day guidance, training and support to EO/IR Solutions personnel on export licensing and compliance needs (e.g., releasability, etc.). Interpret and explain export compliance requirements such as license/TAA provisos, export regulations, and Raytheon export policies and procedures * Assist with investigations and reviews of possible GT escapes and disclosures * Contribute to key global trade compliance infrastructure elements including people, processes/procedures, automated solutions/tools, training, and metrics What You Will Learn: * As you lead a team of Global Trade licensing professionals, you'll master the art of managing people, providing insightful guidance on licensing strategies and portfolio management, and fueling the growth of our business * You will play a pivotal role in contributing to the continuous improvement of our Global Trade Processional and of our licensing and compliance policies and processes Qualifications You Must Have: * Typically requires University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience * The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required * U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance * Experience in drafting and submitting Department of State and Department of Commerce license and agreement applications and other authorization requests * Currently or previously designated as an Empowered Official * Experience with DECCS, SNAP-R, OCR EASE, and/or other automated licensing and compliance systems and/or resources * Experience directly supervising Global Trade teams Qualifications We Prefer: * Active & transferable DoD Secret Clearance * Self-starter with demonstrated ability to develop effect
