Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and friendly Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our clients, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience for all patients. Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and provide a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
- Manage incoming and outgoing phone calls, taking messages and directing calls to the appropriate staff member.
- Utilize phone systems to schedule appointments
- Perform various administrative tasks, including answering inquiries, filing documents, and maintaining office supplies.
- Provide customer support and resolve issues in a timely and courteous manner.
- Manage front desk operations, including opening and closing the office, and ensuring the reception area remains organized and clean.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including patient files and appointment schedules.
- Process payments and handle cash transactions.
- Use computer literacy to efficiently complete tasks and stay organized.
- Prioritize tasks effectively to ensure timely completion of responsibilities and maintain a productive work environment.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Perform proofreading to ensure error-free communication.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a front desk receptionist or in a related role.
- Knowledge of dental or medical receptionist procedures and terminology. (Not required, but encouraged)
- Proficiency with phone systems and the ability to multitask.
- Excellent customer support skills and a warm, welcoming demeanor.
- Strong computer literacy and experience with office software.
- Ability to proofread and maintain high-quality written communication.
- Effective time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Proven organizational skills and attention to detail.
