Sr Account Executive

Small Business Financial Exchange, Inc. (SBFE, LLC)

Position: Reporting to the Head of Strategic Relationships, the Senior Account Manager will play a crucial role in managing and expanding our relationships with critical stakeholder groups including trade association members and Certified Vendors. They will be responsible for overseeing project plans, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring that revenue targets are met. They will proactively collaborate with internal teams, manage co-marketing efforts, and facilitate new product requests to enhance SBFE’s brand and service offerings. This is a remote opportunity with the position able to be located anywhere within the U.S. Approximately 20% of travel is expected to team meetings, partner offsites, and conference locations.

Position Overview

Certified Vendor Relationships:
• Act as the primary point of contact for four key credit bureau relationships (Certified Vendors), ensuring smooth and productive interactions.
• Collaborate with the Director of Strategic Relationships to develop and implement strategic initiatives that foster growth and create new revenue streams.
• Oversee project management and drive the expansion of partnerships.
• Manage co-marketing efforts to boost SBFE brand awareness and market presence.
• Facilitate new product requests with internal SBFE team, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
• Ensure consistent data processing by managing cross-functional partnerships with the SBFE internal operations team.
• Regularly review and update SBFE scorecards and dashboards, identifying performance opportunities and revenue gaps with certified vendors.
• Maintain a strategic roadmap and pipeline of initiatives to drive revenue growth.
• Build and nurture effective partnerships with internal SBFE resources to ensure successful execution of initiatives and projects.

Trade Associations Member Relationships:
• Deepen existing member relationships to enhance data and portfolio contributions that deepen engagement and drive revenue.
• Oversee member marketing communications and content sharing to ensure engagement and information dissemination.
• Facilitate new member inquiries and onboarding processes effectively integrating into SBFE.
• Serve as the point of contact for all member-related inquiries outside of the operational team.
• Manage member prospecting campaigns through Salesforce to promote new SBFE memberships.
• Conduct monthly and yearly relationship reviews to assess and strengthen member engagement.

New External Partnerships:
• Support the growth and development of new partner relationships.
• Ensure compliance with agreements, including meeting SLA’s, KPI’s, and revenue targets.
• Monitor and report on performance metrics to drive continuous improvement and achievement of contract objectives.
• Assess industry conferences and attend as appropriate.

Qualifications

The Senior Account Manager should have at least seven to ten years of professional experience, including account and relationship management within the financial services and/or professional services industry. They will have experience creating and driving growth through the expansion and retention of existing relationships in a highly entrepreneurial and collaborative environment. The Senior Account Manager will have the following experience and attributes:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.

• Proven experience in account management, client relations, or a similar role, with a track record of managing vendor and partner relationships.

• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

• Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM systems.

• Analytical skills with experience in reviewing performance metrics and identifying growth opportunities.

• Demonstrated ability to drive strategic initiatives and manage complex projects effectively.
