Qualifications
· 2-3+ years experience in Personal Lines Insurance
· Independent agency experience
· Current P&C Insurance License
· Experience with Applied EPIC
· Experience and knowledge of current Personal Lines markets in California
· Well versed in technology computer platforms, i.e. LastPass, DocuSign, Salesmessage, etc (Preferred)
· If local, willing to come into the office for the first 90 days during the training period (Preferred)
Job Responsibilities
· Process personal lines for a book consisting of $1 million in premium.
· Incoming leads added to Pipedrive and contacted upon receipt.
· Quote current clients for multiple carriers as applicable.
· Log all quotes sent to a clients via EPIC, Pipedrive, and Egnyte (local file server).
· Issue Loss Policy Release notices in DocuSign. Includes processing: emailing to carrier or on carrier portal, note in EPIC, and create activity for follow up of completed signature.
· Take payments over the phone. Includes billing regularly, apply payment in carrier portal, email receipt to insured and save as attachment in EPIC, and document EPIC; for renewals ‘win’ in Pipedrive.
· Pipedrive Renewals: call each client, remind them about payment, inform if there is non-renewal, note if EFT recurring credit card or direct bill in Pipedrive, if direct bill then call and email insured.
· Process and issue endorsements, note EPIC, attach confirmation in EPIC, email client confirmation.
· Process cancellations and reinstatements.
· Issue Auto ID cards as applicable.
· Shopping renewals: note in Pipedrive carriers submitted to. If the insured will be staying with current carrier, log automatic renewal in Pipedrive and ‘renewed’ in EPIC.
· Facilitate claims through carrier claims departments, handle claim reporting for clients as needed.
· Facilitate inspections by letting insured know what is needed and returning applicable attachments from insured to carrier. Log in EPIC.
· Work through new business and renewal business tasks as created for the agency, mark for upcoming onboarding task and policy check task.
· Work with accounting for agency billed clients by adding EPIC activity and attaching invoice for client.
· If an Insured calls in to cancel their policy, try to keep client. In cases when home is being sold find out if purchasing a new home, if not let them know we are here for any insurance needs in the future.
o If the Insured is adamant about canceling, send the LPR to the Insured in DocuSign and process with carrier via email, phone, or carrier portal.
· Stay up to date and within timelines for renewals, non-renewals, client response time, etc.
