Intern Summary

The Summer 2024 Internship program will run from May 2024 – August 2024 in Charlotte, NC. The Information Technology Intern will be responsible for a project around a migration of “The Tech Spot” moved out of its current Google environment and into the Microsoft ecosystem.

What You’ll Be Doing
• There is an internal program called "The Tech Spot" that needs to be moved out of the Google environment and moved into the Microsoft ecosystem
• This future intern will help migrate the data from the old solution to the new solution
• Gain experience in Microsoft Dataverse and Microsoft Power Platform development
• Observe current migration process and participate in the process / edit and review existing processes to make more efficient; heavy data entry in some migration aspects
• Creating standard work for the current process by observing and participating
• Identifying any gaps, providing solutions to each gap/pain point

Experience & Skills To Be Considered
• Currently a Junior or Senior enrolled in a 4-year bachelor’s degree program in a Computer Science, Information Technology or similar field
• Available to work 40 hours/week
• In office 3x/week
• Corporate office located in Charlotte, NC

WORKING CONDITIONS

Working in an office as well as a warehouse environment with possible exposure to extreme temperatures for short periods of time. Use of computer and terminal to gather data and generate reports and memos. At times could be exposed to varying environments at the customer’s site, including potential exposure to dangerous chemicals and solvents if proper safety procedures are not followed.
