As an ICT architect, your role involves developing principles, models, and guidelines from strategic inputs and translating them into practical and cost-effective solution architecture. You'll work closely with a diverse group of internal stakeholders and external customers, providing solutions that amplify their competitive stance. This role demands an individual capable of serving as an internal consultant across various IT areas, offering expertise, guidance, and innovative techniques to meet the growing demand.
What You Bring
• Extensive experience with dimensional modeling, data architecture, and database design.
• Proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g., Java, Scala, Python) and strong command of SQL.
• Skilled in building modern data stacks, utilizing tools such as dbt, Informatica, Airflow, Snowflake, among others.
• Solid grasp of the data processing requirements for both real-time and batch systems, catering to transactional and analytical processing.
• Proven track record in developing ETL/ELT jobs and data pipelines, along with proficiency in job scheduling systems.
• Over 12 years of professional expertise as a Data Engineer, specializing in building scalable data solutions.
• Familiarity with RDBMS, NoSQL databases, and real-time streaming systems like Kafka, Spark, Flink, etc.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to diverse audiences and effectively managing stakeholders at all levels.
What You Will Do
• Lead the design and development of data architecture and pipelines to facilitate advanced AI and analytics solutions.
• Provide technical leadership across various data engineering projects by offering design guidance, overseeing development, and conducting code reviews.
• Contribute to defining and communicating the long-term strategy and priorities for the data office.
• Collaborate with data platform and infrastructure teams to architect and integrate high-quality, resilient data feeds from across the organization.
• Engage with current and emerging data platforms, advising teams on delivery practices, adhering to best practices, and assuming accountability for data engineering and architecture. Your extensive background in building large-scale data solutions, coupled with hands-on development experience, analytical acumen, innovative thinking, and problem-solving skills, will be essential for success.

Your Pay
The salary range for this position is listed below. The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
• Washington, New York, and New Jersey: $144,300 - $216,500
• California: $144,300 - $236,500
• All other US locations: $133,600 - $200,400
Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. Actual bonus payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit’s objectives, individual performance, and the individual bonus target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.

Your Time
Your work-life balance is important to us. New employees are provided up to 40 days of paid time off per year, including 15 days of accrued annual vacation, 3 personal days, 11 paid holidays, 10 sick days, and 1 volunteer day. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee’s start date. Those with additional vacation time at the end of the year may sell one week of vacation, equal to a week of pay. Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 16 weeks of maternity/medical leave, 6 weeks of paternity or adoption leave at 100%
