POSITION SUMMARY:
Rogers State University is accepting applications for Recruiter for Office of Graduate Studies
Actively recruit prospective graduate students and build relationships with businesses in healthcare, counseling, and other businesses needing professionals with graduate degrees.
PRIMARY DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Recruit prospective students to all graduate programs.
• Build and sustain strong working relationships with corporations and healthcare organizations.
• Sustain a system of visitation and follow-up meetings with businesses and prospective students.
• Disseminate accurate information to prospective students and businesses in a timely manner.
• Assist in coordination of campus visits.
• Maintain prospective student database.
• Attend Graduate / Career Fairs to promote graduate programs.
• Coordinate with Communications and Marketing for promotional materials.
• Assist the Office of Graduate Studies as needed.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
• Knowledge of the academic environment and the structure of degree programs
• Excellent Interpersonal skills as well as strong oral and written communication skills.
• Organized, flexible self-starter who is willing to work until the job is complete.
• Work independently as needed but employ a team mindset and positive attitude.
• Personal Computer skills and the ability to learn new technology.
• Enthusiastic, professional, and good ambassador for the University at all times.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Knowledge of the academic environment and the structure of degree programs
REPORTS TO: Director of Graduate Studies
HOURS: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm with occasional special event hours as needed
POSITION: Non-Exempt
