Our client is a commercial real estate investment firm that prides itself on identifying high-value investment opportunities and delivering exceptional returns for our stakeholders. They are looking to expand their team by bringing on an Investment Analyst. This role will be primarily based in their NYC office, with minimal travel to their Bergen County Headquarters.
Salary/Hourly Rate:

$90k - $100k
Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented real estate Investment Analyst with at least 1 year of experience to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, excellent financial modeling skills, and a passion for real estate investment. This role involves supporting investment decision-making processes through comprehensive market analysis, financial evaluation, and property performance assessment.
Responsibilities of the Investment Analyst:
• The Investment Analyst will conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify investment opportunities and trends.
• Develop and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate the potential performance of real estate investments.
• The Investment Analyst will prepare investment memorandums, reports, and presentations for internal stakeholders and potential investors.
• Analyze property financials, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• The Investment Analyst will assist in the due diligence process, including reviewing property documents, lease agreements, and market conditions.
• Monitor and report on the performance of existing investment properties.
• The Investment Analyst will collaborate with senior analysts and investment managers to support the acquisition and disposition process.
• Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and economic factors affecting the real estate market.

Qualifications for the Investment Analyst:
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in real estate investment analysis.
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis, with expertise in Excel and other relevant software.
• Familiarity with real estate valuation methods and metrics.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of real estate markets and investment trends is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with various teams.
• Experience using Argus is highly preferred.

Education Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or Business Administration is required.
