Description
This remote position offers the opportunity to engage in agile software development practices, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos. You will work closely with credit analysts and data scientists to translate business intent into user stories and testable component designs. Your role will involve implementing credit strategies within an automated decision engine and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business needs and target architecture.
Qualifications
• A Bachelor's degree in a Technology-related field such as Computer Science, MIS, Software Development, or similar.
• Minimum 2 years of professional development experience, including agile engineering practices.
• Core programming knowledge in languages such as JavaScript and Python, with a strong understanding of data structures.
• Prior experience with automated decision engines like Blaze, PowerCurve, Zoot, or Provenir is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with Swagger-OAS and/or RAML for API specification is a plus.
• Good communication skills with both technical and non-technical team members.
• A passion for continuous learning and improvement.
Responsibilities
• Meet with credit analysts and data scientists to understand desired business intent and translate it into user stories and testable component designs.
• Implement credit strategies and rules into an automated decision engine.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure credit strategy implementations align with business needs and target state architecture.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs and functional tests using various frameworks.
• Provide research and problem resolution in an accurate and timely manner.
• Assist in writing technical documentation for decision engine implementation.
• Work in an agile, rapid development, and prototyping environment.
