We are currently hiring for multiple positions at the Aviation Management Division, and the Revenue Development & Management Division. The position descriptions are as follows:
I. Aviation Management Division:
The Aviation Management division functions as the Airport’s leasing and property management department for aviation-related tenants – including all airlines, aviation support providers, airline & fuel consortiums and government agencies located at SFO. Under general direction, the Airport Property Specialist I performs a variety of functions related to the activities and contractual agreements of aviation-related tenants.
The essential functions of this position include:
• Generates, negotiates, closes and manages compliance of contractual space and operational agreements of aviation-related tenants; Types of agreements include leases, operating agreements, space and business permits, license agreements, easements, rights of way, MOU’s, etc..
• Manages aviation-related tenant activities and properties including airport terminals, land, office buildings warehouse facilities, hangars, fuel systems and off-airport leases in conjunction and coordination with other airport departments.
• Prepares reports, letters, memos, contracts and other documentation as required.
• Fosters strong professional working relationships with airline management, corporate executives, aviation support service managers, and multiple airport divisions in order to complete transactions, special projects and solve operational and day-to-day issues.
• Identifies and promotes highest and best use of airport properties and spaces in order to maximize airport revenue.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
II. Revenue Development & Management Division:
Under general direction, the Airport Property Specialist I - performs a variety of functions related to the Airport’s property management and business development programs.
The essential functions of this position include:
• Manages the various operational activities of concessions tenants related to the following properties – terminals, office buildings and other properties.
• Utilizes various restaurant/retail marketing data, analysis, and other research tools.
• Prepares verbal and written memos, letters, reports and recommendations to management for achieving maximum revenues from the leasing and rental of Airport properties.
• Prepares verbal and written memos, letters, reports and recommendations regarding management of operating policies and practices to improve operating efficiencies.
• Manages the outreach and competitive selection process for award of concession and passenger service contracts at the Airport.
• In Partnership and a liaison to tenants/operators, various internal and external Airport stakeholders and local agencies.
• May include additional duties as assigned.
Nature of Work
The normal work period is Monday through Friday, however, you will be required to report to work during emergency situations including weekends, evenings, and holidays to facilitate airport emergency support operations.
