Location:Bartlesville, OK
Pay Rate:$15.00/hour with 2.5% commission on new business with an escalating scale for new business
Primary Purpose: To sell, market, and service, Oklahoma Farm Bureau Insurance products to new and existing customers. The Agent assesses risk using prior insurance experiences, knowledge, and strategies.This role provides insurance guidance to existing customers while networking within the community to achieve agency growth, retention, and stability. The agent works simultaneously with the county to meet current sales and new business goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Sell and market various types of insurance policies on behalf of the company, including home, auto, farm & ranch, life, commercial and investments
• Identify customer needs, establish relationships and customize insurance programs to suit those needs
• Proactive in generating new business by assessing risk and recommending appropriate coverage.
• Develop a customer base by networking and generating lists of prospective customers
• Perform administrative tasks, such as maintaining records and handling policy renewals
• Completes follow-up on an existing book of business and new customer issues
• Acts as an extension of Oklahoma Farm Bureau by attending networking and community events
