Looking For:

Experienced Stage Manager with at least three years of experience in the industry to oversee a very fast-forward, innovative turnkey soundstage in Kingston, NY. Must be well-versed in grip and electric, handy, and comfortable with tools. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, proactive, tech fast forward, possess good communication skills, able to troubleshoot when needed, and have reliable transportation. We need someone who is flawlessly reliable, motivated, hard-working, and possesses the highest level of integrity. Comfort with working in a creative, rapidly growing, close-knit company is a must.

Job Description:
• Maintaining inventory
• Managing sub-rentals and returning grip and electric gear
• Client interfacing
• Painting the studio, per client specifications
• Ensuring the studios are ready for incoming production, catering, and crew
• Liaising with vendors and clients
• Assisting with production
• Ensuring the organization of the Studio and equipment

Requirements:
• Must have general knowledge of the film industry
• Strong written and computer skills
• Able to speak on the phone, and in person, with clients in a personable, professional, and knowledgeable manner
• Need to be able to take video and still shots to document jobs and projects
• Driver's license and reliable car
• Educated with at least a HS diploma
• Smart phone

This is ongoing freelance work for a major soundstage that is very busy and the hours vary.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 60 per week
